Church-Sanctioned Killing in the Name of the True GodThe War in Bosnia is Religious Not Political The present war in Bosnia is a three-way religious battle for land and mind conquest between Croats, Serbs and Muslims. The following is a brief background of this dreadful situation. It all started in 1054 AD when the schism between the Roman Catholic Church (Croatia) and the Eastern Orthodox church (Serbia) split Christendom in half. This, then, is the base cause of today's four-year bloody conflict between Croats, Serbs and Muslims (Bosnians). Both the Croatians and Serbians were evangelized from Constantinople, complete with papal flags until the great schism. Then Serbia backed Constantinople (and, much later, Moscow), and Croatia backed Rome. In 1971, the schism was eased and excommunications of the Orthodox were nullified by the Vatican. In 1995, Pope John Paul II met with the Greek Patriarch Bartholomew at the Vatican. The leaders agreed to share the blame, and a spirit of "forgiveness" prevailed. But relations had been strained earlier in the 1990s by Orthodox allegations that Catholics wanted to take over Balkan territory. The Vatican had prayed for Russian collapse in order to execute its policy of Catholic domination of the Balkans. First a Catholic kingdom had to be established in the Balkans by the detachment of Catholic Croatia from Yugoslavia, which was dominated by the Orthodox Serbs. Croat separation became a tool for the Vatican's schemes of religious-political domination. Centuries of bad feeling had bred much bitterness and animosity between the two Christian groups. Catholics believe the Orthodox to be schismatic and not true Christians. Fifty years ago bands of Croat (Catholic) terrorists called "Ustashi" gnawed away at the international structure of Yugoslav unity. When the Germans occupied this area during World War II, it served their ends to declare a Croatian (puppet) Republic with the sadistic Ustashi leader, Pavelic, at its head, defended and actively aided by Catholic Archbishop Stepinac. This began a reign of terror in which Ustashi death squads ran wild, killing indiscriminately all non-Catholics. Many Jews and Muslims were butchered along with the Croats main target, the Orthodox Serbs. It is estimated that up to one million Serbs perished in this genocide. Pavelic and Stepinac, with German (Nazi) and Vatican tacit approval, used concentration camps, death squads torture, firing squads all in the service of the Catholic Croats for the elimination of those alien to the Croatian national religion. This story can be read in The Vatican's Holocaust by Avro Manhattan. The promotion and backing of this Croatian Ustashi terror by the Vatican must not be minimized, condoned or excused. It is this genocide against the Serbs that has engendered the spirit of revenge among Serbians in Bosnia today.
